CSFC return to The Dome for more MMA action in Doncaster, and three professional bouts top the bill.
Undefeated local favourite Scott Askham meets Lithuanian war horse Aurelijus Kerpe. Originally set to face Dutch oppposition, the reliable Kerpe stepped up when injury reared its ugly head but it should prove to be an exciting encounter between two strikers.
Askham is on his way up, whilst Kerpe has already fought some of the best competition around, including former UFC and Strikeforce welterweight Paul Daley. He has a great chin, and Askham's striking will be tested as he has managed to blitz all of his opponents so far.
Also in the pro ranks, Doncaster light-heavyweight James Parker meets Sheffield's Daniel Konecke. Talented Parker has been out of action for a long time, whereas Konecke has been active, already having a win over American Joseph Woods in 2012. Will experience or momentum get the best of this battle?
Rounding off the pro card is Zi Shah vs. Mark Aldridge. Shah is a stealthy BJJ fighter with great submissions, and he also returns after a lengthy absence to face off against journeyman competitor Aldridge, who has a lot of heart but a lot of losses after stepping up to face high-level domestic fighters on not a lot of notice.
There is a strong amateur undercard, and even a UFC veteran as Neil Wain fights K1 against Ric Dale.
