Biography
Vitor Belfort exploded onto the scene as a youthful nineteen year old with frightening power at UFC 12 in 1997.
'The Phenom' garnered his nickname from these early performances and continued his ascent, winning the heavyweight tournament, the UFC light-heavyweight title and the Cage Rage light-heavyweight title.
He has since dropped to middleweight where he has had great success.
He trains out of Xtreme Couture and holds a black belt in BJJ under Carlson Gracie.
