Nick Diaz is a professional mixed martial artist from Stockton, California.

Diaz won the Strikeforce welterweight championship when he stopped Marius Zaromskis in the first round of their encounter and he also held the WEC's 170lb title nack in 2003. He spent a portion of his career in the UFC and also fought in Pride, where he notoriously defeated Takanori Gomi by gogoplata - a result which was later overturned due to Diaz's positive test for marijuana.

Diaz trains under Cesar Gracie and is a BJJ black belt under him. The team also features Nick's brother Nate, Gilbert Melendez and Jake Shields.
