Biography

Georges St-Pierre is a French-Canadian fighter from Quebec, Canada.

The Montreal-based athlete is the UFC welterweight champion and one of the most revered fighters in the sport. He first won the UFC crown in 2006 before losing it to Matt Serra. He then defeated Hughes for the interim title before getting his revenge on Serra to become the undisputed king of 170lbs once again.

Coming from a Kyokushin background, he started fighting in MMA in 2002 after cross-training in wrestling, kickboxing, boxing and BJJ.

A mainstay at Jackson's MMA and Zahabi MMA, he has also trained with Renzo Gracie for BJJ and Phil Nurse for Muay Thai.
