Biography

Anderson Silva is the current UFC middleweight champion with a record breaking win-streak inside the UFC (10).

He was once a member of the famed Chute Boxe MMA academy in Brazil. However, he is currently a member of Black House with the Nogueiras and Lyoto Machida.

His phenomenal striking skills have earnt him the admiration of fans worldwide, aweing fans in Japan, England, Brazil and America with his Muay Thai attack.

He also holds a black belt in BJJ, Judo and Taekwondo.

His titles include the UFC middleweight champion, Cage Rage middleweight champion and Shooto middleweight champion.

His skills have seen him virtually clean out his current division and move up to light-heavyweight in order to seek big fighters although he looks likely to defend his 185lbs crown in January against Vitor Belfort.
