Interview

Mamour 'Mamourinho' Fall returns to Scotland on February 25, 2012 to defend his On Top Lightweight title against 5-0 Martin 'Diesel' Delaney.

The 11-5 Frenchman won the title at On Top 3 following an injury to Sean Wright and a decision victory over Bobby McVitie. We spoke to him about his upcoming fight:

Your MMA: How happy were you to win the On Top title at On Top 3?

“I was well prepared with my team. I want to thank Fred Fernandez, my coach, Cyrille Diabatte, and On Top Promotions for the opportunity. It's always nice to win, and winning the belt was very satisfying.”

Your MMA: Have you watched much footage of Delaney? What do you think of him as an opponent?

“I’ve seen Delaney fight. I found him to be powerful, but I take every fight the same way, no matter who I am facing in the ring or the cage.”

Your MMA: Where do you think you are better than Delaney?

“I have a lot of experience and better boxing. Previously, I’ve taken on opponents much stronger and more complete than him. He does not make me worry. I’ll fight the best I can, and I am confident. I see my previous defeats as accidents. God willing, I will win this fight.”

Your MMA:  What can the Scottish fans expect to see from you this time around?

“They can expect an explosive bloody battle, but they should not expect me to leave the belt in Scotland. Christmas was last month!”
