Sick of mat burns?
Want to reduce the risk of horrible infections such as staph and ringworm?
Need another layer under your gi during winter?
Looking for an alternative to MMA shorts?
Scramble "Spats" could be your new favourite piece of MMA clothing!

Here are YourMMA.tv contributor Stuart Baxter's thoughts on them...
Style - 10/10
Totally different from any other MMA clothing; no skulls, no flames, no stars, no reference to "cage fighting". Comes in two designs, plain black, or rainbow. Wear them under MMA shorts, under gi pants, or even on their own if you dare.
Fit - 8/10
Due to the stretchy material and elasticated waist it is easy to achieve a good fit.
A drawstring to secure the waist would be of benefit but this is only an issue if you plan to wear them by themselves.
I am 70kg and over 6ft tall, and was still able to find a pair that fit (size: medium).
Functionality - 10/10
Thick enough to keep muscles warm.
Thin enough to prevent overheating.
Comfortable and lightweight.
Extra leg coverage helps prevent ringworm, staph etc.
Price - 10/10
Black Spats: £30
Rainbow Spats: £35
Cheaper than most MMA shorts.
Overall - 9/10
The only thing that lets these down is the lack of a drawstring waist.
Truly a great product for grapplers, BJJ players, and MMA fighters alike.
