We speak to top ranked European featherweight Sergej Grecicho ahead of his fight against Olivier Pastor at On Top 4. 

Your MMA: Tell us about your previous fight at On Top 2?

“I fought against experienced BJJ guy Marcos Nardini. The fight was really difficult and exciting, I won it by unanimous decision. I liked the organization of event and was pleasantly impressed.”

Your MMA: What do you know about Pastor?

“Olivier Pastor is a really strong fighter, I am seriously preparing for this fight and trying to do my best. I never predict my fights; time will show who deserves the victory.”

Your MMA: Where do you think you are better than Pastor?

“Everything depends on the situation, no matter how and who I face, I want it to be a fair and nice fight.”

Your MMA: Should you win, you’ll be in line for a shot at the On Top Featherweight title. Who would you like to face for the belt? There’s plenty of highly ranked Scots at featherweight, like Graham Turner, Paul Reed, John Cullen and Robert Whiteford.

“I never choose opponents, so it would be a great honor to fight with any of those high level Scottish fighters.  I have a lot of friends and fans in Scotland, so I am impatiently waiting to come back again.”
