Ross Pointon's Gladiator Promotions presented their eleventh 'Night of the Gladiators' at Stoke's Liquid Nightclub last night, with a seven fight card that was topped by a professional encounter between Next Generation's Dean Garnett and Stoke Fight Factory's Conrad Hayes.

Garnett took the fight via majority decision after an illegal strike saw him deducted a point in round two, but a pinpoint display of wrestling and ground and pound meant the decision was justified.

Hayes was tough and wouldn't give in despite some heavy elbows and close submissions attempts, and he pressed until the end but couldn't stop the takedown.
