There has been another addition to the UFC On Fuel 5 card in Nottingham and it will see undefeated UK lightweight Paul Sass (13-0) take on Matt Wiman (14-6) in a lightweight contest.

Sass was up against it with many writing off his chances against Jacob Volkmann at UFC 146, but the Kaobon fighter showed just how potent his submission game is when he dispatched the surging American in the first round.

It took him to 3-0 in the UFC with all of the fights ending by submission in the first round, and getting progressively quicker.

In Wiman, he meets a tough,durable slugger that will look to keep the action on the feet. He has been stopped once way back in 2006 and has wins in four of his last five.

Wiman has met elite competition and with twelve UFC bouts to his credit, he is the most experienced opponent of Sass' career.

“After looking so impressive in his last fight at UFC 146, unbeaten Liverpool lightweight Paul Sass steps up to fight talented veteran Matt Wiman, who has won four of his last five fights.”

The bout takes places on September 29th, 2012 on a card also being dubbed UFC Nottingham - the UK's only UFC event of the year.
