Yorkshire-based fighters Dave Keeley (6-5) and Danny Mitchell (12-3-1) will be heading out to Korea in June to face tough American opposition on M-1 Korea: 'Monster War'.

Keeley in particular gets a well known name, as he is set to take on Strikeforce and Bellator veteran Brett 'The Grim' Rogers (12-5).

Throughout his career, Keeley has taken on some stern opposition, defeating the likes of Eddy Bengtsson, Joel Wyatt and Darren Towler. With a willingness to travel around the world to take on tough opponents, this is another good way for 'The Iron Giant' to create exposure himself internationally, and he'll be aiming to secure a second victory in Korea after submitting Ukrainian Vitaly Oparin there in 2011.

Keeley hasn't been as active as he may have liked, setting up his his own gym and having bouts fall through. This is definitely a fight that would get the international community talking, given Rogers' name value.

Rogers burst on to the scene with a career defining win over Andrei Arlovski in 2009, and then went on to face the top heavyweights in the world such as Fedor Emelianenko, Alistair Overeem and Josh Barnett. Personal and legal troubles saw Rogers in the limelight for the wrong reasons, but he signed for Bellator last year and went 1-1 with the promotion, last losing via decision to champion Alexander Volkov.

Mitchell will return to action for the first time since August, with injuries and his successful professional boxing debut, on top of coaching duties at the successful AVT team, keeping him out of regular action in the cage. Although he has been sidelined, Mitchell will be looking to show what he can do once again, and add to a four-fight unbeaten streak.

His opponent, Ben "Bad News" Lagman (6-3) of American Top Team, has featured for Bellator and Strikeforce, finishing all six of his victories inside the distance.

The M-1 Korea event will be held on June 22nd in Goyang's Kintex Arena, and features other top international names on the bill, as well as popular Korean singers and musicians.

It will be a big platform for the South Yorkshire duo, and bringing home wins from Asia with impressive peformances will certainly solidify their standing domestically and in Europe.
