A war of words made for a great grudge match in the flyweight division at Cage Warriors 48.
Kris Edwards made the drop to 125lbs for the first time to face off against Scotland's Brian Hyslop, and both men were highly regarded coming into the contest. Hyslop had the ranking already at flyweight, and Edwards badly wanted to take that from him.
After a competitive first round which saw Hyslop work from the top and Edwards show how threatening he is from his back, the second round followed a similar format until the end came.
