Cage Warriors returned to Amman, Jordan with the seventh in their 'Fight Night' series.

The card was topped by a middleweight title fight between Chris Fields and Pavel Kusch, but there was also middleweight action on the undercard.

Following a disappointing loss in his first Cage Warriors outing, Brett Bassett told Your MMA that, "getting the 'W' wouldn't be enough." He wanted to make a statement against the rangy Gym 01 fighter Ling.

Ling is an experienced and dangerous fighter though so it wasn't an easy prospect. Fans were split down the middle with predictions.

As the pair opened up, Ling looked comfortable, trying to gauge the distance and keep Bassett as bay with a jab.

However, as Ling threw a slightly lacklustre kick, it was caught by his opponent with devastating consequences.

Check out the video for the finish.

The Cage Warriors Fight Night 7 card was a solid one, where there were also wins for the likes of Jim Alers, James Brum, Leonardo Santos and Mohsen Bahari.
